New Villages (Nouveaux Villages)

Successfully implemented in the Republic of Congo, New Villages (Nouveaux Villages) are more than rural housing. Children benefit from advanced education, and residents gain the agricultural and technological skills necessary for economic viability. Independent farmers are able to collectively purchase agricultural inputs, maintain the village, its institutions, plan, establish, train, and manage to work towards economic independence.
